So, due to previous transgressions I didn’t know I could vote until late yesterday… So my vote was for President Elect, Mr. President Barack Obama but when I got to the polls I wrote in JESUS, I figured I’d vote for Jesus and God would sort out the rest… All I knew is that I wasnt voting for McCain… With that being said., I am happy that history was made last night but I think that while we enjoy the fact that he is now the 1st black president, I also feel that it is now time for him to make this much needed change that he promised us throughout his campaign. My girlfriend and I have argued this point over the past couple of months… I believe in Barack Obama because I think as he thinks - yes this country needs a change, yes we need to help out the middle class, yes we need to assist the lower income families with jobs and affordable housing. But, NEVER was it about him being black… I have 2 daughters and my vote is solely based on who will help and better this country and it doesnt matter to me if that person is black, white, yellow, or brown… People vote for whatever reason and thats fine but I dont understand people who vote for or against a person just because they are a certain color. We have shown by electing Obama as President that we have come soooooooooooooooo far as a country but at the same time we have shown that things still remain the same…

I pray that he has a good heart and that he does all that he promised… I am letting go and lettting God deal with it….

Congrats President Obama, you have not only open doors for African Americans but you have also open the eyes of our nation… Next up… my daughters as Prez… Holla at me!!!

Alot of people (when I say alot, I truly mean alot) email, text or call me and say that I need my own reality show. Well, since no production company has picked up the option for Dee Woodz Live, I chose to bring it to you in the blog form. This will be a little bit different from all the other typical musician’s blog. Im not gonna only talk about music but imma touch on other topics like tv, radio, general life, politics and maybe even the economy (word is that you can own all of GM is you have $200 layin around). FYI, imma take it slow, something like once a week and if yall like it and i can get the hang of typin for fun then I will bump it up to 2x a week and so on and so forth… So with that bein said….
